Lydia Lange is a British Iranian photographer based in London and Los Angeles. Informed by her multi-cultural childhood, her practice meditates on ideas of home, belonging and the myths we tell ourselves about who we are. 

Working predominantly with colour film, she uses photography as a form of ethnographic inquiry, driven by the everyday around her, seeking out the cracks in the speed of our social, political and personal lives. With that lens, she maps out where contrasting cultures meet and mingle, and what a city can reveal about our history and our collective future.
